GLAAD and The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation join forces to help end the epidemic

The reality of HIV and AIDS has evolved in the United States since it was first brought to public consciousness in the 1980s. While we have seen significant progress on prevention and treatment, public understanding lags and the unwarranted negative stigma associated with the disease continues to be an obstacle to eradication.

GLAAD and The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation have launched a new public service announcement (PSA) campaign to inspire, inform, and reignite the passion and action needed to beat the HIV and AIDS epidemic once and for all. This follows a guide for journalists released in 2015. To view the guide, click here.
